Bay Leaf

Bay Leaf is also known as laurel leaf which is a leaf of the sweet bay tree. It is widely used as a spice in pickling and marinating and to enhance the flavor of stews, stuffing and fish. It is usually used whole and later removed from the dish after cooking. Bay Leaf  is an excellent alternative which is easy to sprinkle and ensures the dish remains visually appealing.
